Platform Overview

The meltcloud platform (SaaS or self-hosted) provides fully-managed Kubernetes Control Planes and the necessary artifacts to join arbitrary nodes to the clusters.

• At its heart is the Foundry, a web application which exposes a Web UI and a REST API
• Platform teams can interact with the Foundry using the Web Console or the melt-terraform-provider.
• The Foundry manages Clusters (Hosted Kubernetes Control Planes), Boot Artifacts and Machines on behalf of the platform team
